Offices
Umeå Biotech Incubator has office space on floors 1, 2, and 5. The offices on floors 1 and 2 are mainly for incubator projects and alumni. Floor 5 is for late incubator projects, alumni, and others.
The offices are 3.7 or 11 square meters big and includes a desk, chair, monitor, and desk lamp. Of course, you also have access wifi, printer & scanner.
Conference rooms
There are also two conference rooms, Blue and Green, on Tvistevägen 48C. Both rooms have speakers and video conferencing. Tenants who rent office space or lab space on Tvistevägen 48C can book these conference rooms.
On floor 5, there is a large conference room called Uven and a small conference room called Sparven. Uven has video conferencing. Tenants who rent office space on floor 5 can book these conference rooms.
You can also rent larger conference rooms in Silverhuset (Tvistevägen 48) and Great Hub Campus (Kuratorvägen 2 b). Silverhuset has five conference rooms, and the largest one can hold 40 people. Great Hub has three conference rooms that are rented out by Balticgruppen. To learn more about how to book these conference rooms, contact the lab & community manager at Umeå Biotech Incubator.
Lunchroom
The lunchroom and coffee machine are shared with other businesses in the building. There is a fridge, freezer, microwave, stove, glasses, dishes, and utensils. The lunchroom is not part of UBI’s premises, so it’s not alarmed or locked. The UBI community gets together for morning coffee at 9:30 am and afternoon coffee at 2:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to join!
Bike and parking
UBI has a loaner bicycle that you can use for free to get around the neighborhood. There is also a waste room with recycling bins in the courtyard. If you need to shower, there are locker rooms with showers available.
To pay for parking on Tvistevägen, you can use Parkster. To create a permit in Parkster, contact the lab & community manager at Umeå Biotech Incubator.
The zone code for Tvistevägen 48 is 92210. There are also guest parking spaces outside the main entrance on Tvistevägen 48A where you can pay by card.
