SpinChem AB has been certified according to ISO 9001:2015 by RISE, covering the company’s development, production, and delivery of rotating bed reactor (RBR) systems for advanced fluid processing.

The certification confirms that SpinChem meets internationally recognised standards for quality, traceability, and continuous improvement. For customers in biotechnology, pharmaceutical manufacturing, chemical processing, and environmental technology, ISO 9001 serves as an important qualification for operating in regulated and mission‑critical environments.

“This is an important and welcome milestone for SpinChem and our customers. ISO 9001 is independent confirmation that our ways of working meet a high, consistent standard. For our customers, this means increased confidence; quality isn’t something we check afterwards, it is built into our entire process,” says Moa Hedestig, COO and Quality Manager at SpinChem.

Strong documentation essential in nuclear-related purification tasks
SpinChem’s RBR technology is used in applications where stable operation, reproducible results, and strong documentation are essential. This includes nuclear‑related purification tasks, where selective materials capture radioactive or hazardous substances from contaminated process liquids. Such environments place high demands on change control, risk management, and full traceability, areas strengthened through the certification.

The RISE audit confirms that SpinChem meets the standard’s requirements for risk management, deviation handling, and systematic improvement, further reinforcing the company’s position as a provider of reliable and scalable process technology from laboratory to industrial scale.
