Dr. Liu Kui has been recognized by the Swedish
Research Council (Vetenskaprådet (VR)) for his achievements over
last decade. He was one of a handful of researchers to receive the
a 6-year career award from the Council. Dr Kui and his research
team are illuminating the various players that control reproductive
capacity in women in general and also looking for mechanisms that
control ovulation and menopause. His research focuses on signalling
molecules that affect the ovaries in a woman.
