Mission

Umeå Biotech Incubator is a state of the art biotech incubator, offering business knowledge to innovators with ideas that stimulate development and growth of companies in the region.

We focus on research organizations in the Umeå area comprised of Umeå Universitet, Sveriges Lantbruksuniversitet (SLU), Norrlands Universitetssjukhus (NUS) and Försvarets forskningsinstitut (FOI).

UBI may support researcher (s) and innovations outside of the region provided they satisfy one condition-the  development is done in Umeå at UBI!

UBI offers:

• Facilities and infrastructure for biotechnology development activities.

• Pre-seed financing to verify the business idea before starting a company.

• Business development knowledge to start up biotech companies in the incubator.
